The Letcher County Central Lady Cougars softball team is back from the spring break Cal Ripken Experience in Myrtle Beach South Carolina where they won 2 games and lost 4.
They split the final two games on Friday, losing a close to Hilliard Davidson Ohio 12-11 and then beat St. Francis Prep out of Fresh Meadows NY 12-1 in 5 innings.
The 8-8 Lady Cougars will return home to play one game this and that will be against the Jenkins Lady Cavaliers in a district game at Jenkins on Tuesday.
The Jenkins Lady Cavaliers softball will begin play today in the 14th Region All A Softball Tournament. They will play Leslie County in the opening round this evening.
