The Letcher County Central Cougars baseball team has back to back wins after beating Lawrence County 5-3 yesterday at Pike County Central in the opening round of the Kentucky 2A-section 8 tournament.
The 4-4 Cougars are next scheduled to play 2 games on Saturday at home.
They will face Lee High out of Jonesville VA at 11:00am and then take on Wise Central at 3:30pm Saturday.
The Jenkins baseball Cavaliers game against East Ridge yesterday at home was postponed due to rain.
The baseball Cavaliers are next scheduled to play this Tuesday at home against Martin County.
