There is a special concert to honor our veterans on Memorial Day, Monday May 27.
The KYVA Summer Winds is a professional wind orchestra made up of 75 musicians from Kentucky, Virginia, Tennessee, and Ohio all of which are public school music teachers, college professors, and college students studying music.
They are holding a concert Monday at 7pm at the Appalshop Pavillion in Whitesburg.
It will feature music by American composers such as John Williams, Aaron Copland, George Gershwin, Stephen Foster and many more.
Bring your own lawn chair.
