Knott County Schools Superintendent Brent Hoover says he’s retiring.
In a statement released Tuesday, Hoover says it is time for him to step into a “new chapter” after spending his entire 29 year career serving Knott County Schools.
Hoover was also a student in Knott County Schools, graduating from Knott County Central High School, and says he returned to teach in order to make a difference in the lives of the young people in the community.
