Kentucky Rolls Over Vandy with Big Second Half

The #17 Kentucky Wildcats had a big second half and got the win over Vanderbilt 82-61 last night at Rupp Arena.

Kentucky led 41-40 at the half but outscored Vandy by 20 in the second half.

Otega Oweh continued his streak of scoring at least 10 points in every game this season, finishing with 20 points seven rebounds, and three assists. Amari Williams was a beast inside adding 17 points and six rebounds. Williams was perfect shooting on the night going 6-6 from the field and 5-5 from the charity stripe. Koby Brea had 12, 11 for Andrew Carr and Collin Chandler chipped in seven points, six rebounds, and two assists in his best game yet as a Cat.

The Mountain Mamba Trent Noah played 16 minutes but didn’t score on 0 for 4 shooting.

Kentucky will next play at #4 Alabama on Saturday. The Crimson Tide lost at Missouri last night. The Cats and Crimson Tide will tip off at 6:00pm. Pregame will begin at 4:30pm Saturday here on 103.9 The Bulldog.
