After the upset by UNC Wilmington Saturday, the Kentucky Wildcats fell to #16 in this week’s Associated Press men’s basketball poll released Monday.
Arizona has climbed to the top of the poll followed by:
2. Kansas
3. Houston
4. Purdue
5. UConn
Also Monday, Kentucky’s Reed Sheppard was named the SEC freshman of the week after his performances against Miami and UNC-Wilmington.
The No. 16 Wildcats will travel to Philadelphia to take on Penn this Saturday, Dec. 9. at noon.
