Kentucky and Texas A & M went to overtime in College Station Saturday afternoon but the Cats lost 97-92.
Antonio Reeves led the scoring for UK with 22 points, D.J. Wagner added 18, and Reed Sheppard finished with 13 points.
The Wildcats drop to 2-1 in SEC play and 12-3 overall.
They will return to action this Wednesday with a home game against Mississippi State at Rupp Arena.
