Jenkins American Legion Post 66 has reportedly donated $1,500 to Kentucky State Police Post 13 in Hazard for their annual Shop with a Trooper event. WYMT reports Post 66 donates to many groups every year and they vote on how to distribute the money. They say this donation included the Sons of the American Legion who matched $346. Their next distribution will be toward veterans in need as soon as they have collected more donations, with officials hoping it can be of a similar amount as to KSP.
