The Letcher County Central Cougars baseball team scored 14 runs in the first inning and won over Buckhorn 15-0 in 3 innings Wednesday night.
The Cougars are now 9-8 and will next play Friday, when they face 10-8 Perry County Central at home starting at 6:00pm.
LCC baseball will take on Betsy Layne at Buckhorn Saturday at 5:00pm in the Stan Begley Wooden Bat Classic.
The Jenkins Cavaliers baseball team lost both games of a district doubleheader at Knott County Central.
Knott Central won game one 19-4 and won game two 16-1.
Jenkins baseball will next play Thursday evening at Elliot County starting at 6:30pm and face Pineville at home on Friday at 5:00pm.
