Hazard Police have busted a guy for allegedly stealing thousands of dollars from ATM’s.
They say they were called when a burglary alarm went off at a Peoples Bank ATM on November 25 and the person from the bank responding spotted the guy’s car.
The car was found on KY 15 and Hector Allejandro Aluarez was stopped.
Police allege Aluarez was recorded on camera tampering with the ATM and had been seen at multiple bank ATM’s in Perry County.
And they say search warrants turned up about $67,000 in cash in the car and another $65,000 in cash in a hotel room where he’d been staying.
