A Harlan County woman has been killed and her boyfriend is facing charges.
Kentucky State Police say the fatal stabbing happened Saturday night at a home off of KY-72.
Their preliminary investigation indicates Michael Howard allegedly stabbed Mary Clayborn who was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead there.
Howard was charged with murder and at last check was in the Harlan County Detention Center.
