Former Perry County Commonwealth Attorney Sentenced After Pleading Guilty

Former Perry County Commonwealth’s Attorney Scott Blair has been sentenced to more than 4 years in prison for committing honest services fraud by accepting bribes.

Earlier this year Blair pleaded guilty after prosecutors said that from 2020 to earlier this year he made recommendations on probation, drug court, and sanctions for defendants that he was prosecuting in exchange for then giving him meth and performing sexual favors.

The US Attorney’s Office says Blair must serve 85 percent of his prison sentence and when he’s out he’ll be on probation for another three years.

Last May the former Commonwealth’s Attorney for Bath, Rowan, Menifee, and Montgomery Counties, Ronnie Goldy also got 4 years in prison for accident drugs and sex as bribes.
