The Former Perry County Commonwealth’s Attorney has pleaded guilty to wire fraud and more. The US Attorney’s Office says on Friday Scott Blair of Hazard pleaded guilty to charges related to what federal officials call a scheme to “deprive Perry Countians of his honest service” from 2020 to 2024. Prosecutors say during that time Blair made recommendations on probation, drug court, and sanctions for defendants he was prosecuting in exchange for meth and sexual favors. Blair’s sentencing has not yet been scheduled but he faces up to 20 years in prison.
