Former Kentucky Governor Julian Morton Carroll has passed away at the age of 92. Carroll served as Governor from 1975 to 1979 having been Lieutenant Governor prior. He also served five terms in the Kentucky House of Representatives and served in the Kentucky Senate from 2004 to 2020. WYMT reports funeral arrangements have not yet been announced but are expected later today. Carroll had been in hospice care for the last several months. His wife, Charlann Harting Carroll died in 2014 at the age of 81.
