A Floyd County woman has been charged for her alleged part in helping an inmate escape custody this week.
As we reported Tuesday, on Monday Thomas Price slipped his guard while getting medical treatment at Highlands Regional ARH.
His inmate jumpsuit was found at the home of a woman friend who police allege drove him away from town.
He was tracked by a prepaid phone card and captured in West Virginia.
The woman, now identified as Cindy Rodriguez of Prestonsburg, was arrested Monday.
Mountain Top News reports she is charged with facilitation to escape and hindering
prosecution.
