A Floyd County dentist out on bond for his connection to a murder at his home last year is going to once again be able to practice dentistry.
The Kentucky Board of Dentistry has reinstated Dr. Michael McKinney’s license, which they suspended following his arrest in July on charges that he helped cover up the 2023 murder of Amber Spradlin for which his son is charged.
McKinney is out of $250,000 bail with a home incarceration GPS.
A judge ruled he can go to his office every day, but he must be home by 5pm.
