The Letcher County Central Cougar baseball team went on the road last night picked up a nice 8-3 win over the Powell County Pirates in Stanton.
The 1-1 Cougars next home game will be Saturday in a big 14th Region rivalry matchup against Perry County Central at Cougar Field with first pitch at 12:00 noon Saturday.
The Jenkins Cavalier baseball team picked up their first win of the season last night and it was a district win 17-0 over Cordia.
The Cavaliers will next play Rye Cove VA at Duffield Saturday at 1:00pm.
