The Dickenson County Schools’ Ridgeview Campus is getting a major upgrade and boost to the county’s vocational programs.
The School Board has approved plans to seek funding for a $8.9 million nursing clinic and robotics lab.
Mountain Top News reports the project already has a $2.7 million grant from the Virginia Department of
Education’s School Construction Assistance Program which will cover about a third of the cost.
The Dickenson County nursing program is currently ranked third in the state of Virginia.
