A new Harlan County school principal is himself a graduate of the system. On Friday Harlan County Public Schools announced that Dr. Joshua Doyle has been named the new principal at Cumberland Elementary School. WYMT reports Dr. Doyle is a Harlan County native who graduated from Harlan County Public Schools in 2006 and has worked in several positions in the school system for the past 12 years. He has also served on the Kentucky Valley Educational Cooperative’s Mathematics Committee.
