A California man will spend 18 years in prison after federal officials say he flooded our region with drugs. The US Attorney’s Office says Roberto Contreras pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute fentanyl after a police raid of his home last year turned up thousands of pills. Mountain Top News reports prosecutors say Contreras provided fentanyl to a local man for more than three years and that man, Marco Orozco, sold them here through social media. Orozco will be sentenced later this month.
