California Man Sentenced For Introducing Network of Drugs in Wise County

It’s eleven years in prison for a California man convicted of helping to introduce a tide of fentanyl onto our region.

Marco Orozco pleaded guilty last July to conspiracy to distribute fentanyl after officials say he admitted to selling between 5,000 and 10,000 pills a month to another man who developed a network of sellers in Wise County.

A total of eight people are now in jail for the conspiracy including two from Norton and a Big
Stone Gap man police say sold pills that caused two teenagers to overdose.
