The KHSAA baseball state tournament will also begin today with the opening round games being played at Legends Field in Lexington.
15th Region champion Pikeville will face Louisville Trinity at 1:30pm this afternoon in the opening round.
The other 3 baseball state tournament games today will be:
Russell County faces Simon Kenton at 10:00am, Larue County takes on PRP at 5:00pm and Mason County will play Lexington Catholic at 8:30pm.
In Friday’s baseball state tournament games, 13th Region winner Corbin will take on Owensboro Catholic at 5:00pm and 14th Region champion Estill County plays Hopkinsville at 8:30pm on Friday.
