A state audit of the Team Eastern Kentucky Flood Relief Fund has found no improper payments were made to anyone from the Fund. The Hazard Herald reports the Kentucky Auditor of Public Accounts did special examinations of the Flood Relief Fund and the Team Western Kentucky Tornado Relief Fund after some media reported that people who lived outside the impacted areas were getting some of the tornado money. The audit found about $213,000 in errors were paid out from the Tornado Relief Fund but there were no inappropriate payments from the Flood Fund as of June 30.
