The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 12 advises motorists of an upcoming roadway closure on KY 317 in Letcher County for a pipe replacement project in the Fleming-Neon area.
On Thursday, March 19, maintenance crews will replace a drainage pipe at mile point 0.86 on KY 317. In order to complete the work, crews will need to cut across the roadway, requiring a temporary closure at the work site during working hours.
Work Schedule and Traffic Impacts:
- Location: KY 317 at mile point 0.86 (Fleming-Neon area)
- Date: Wednesday, March 19
- Working Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Traffic: Road will be closed at the work location during working hours
- Exceptions: Emergency vehicles and school buses will be accommodated
All other motorists will need to seek an alternate route around the closure during working hours.
The project is weather permitting, and schedules may change if conditions require adjustments.
