A Pikeville man has been charged with the murder of a man found dead in Hellier last
spring.
Kentucky State Police say Brandon Blackburn was arrested Monday and charged with murder, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, and being a persistent felony offender in connection with the death of Brent Wooten of Elkhorn City whose body was found on Allegheny Road on March 1.
KSP has not specified what led them to Blackburn.
He was being held at the Pike County Detention Center.
