The Letcher County Lady Cougars took on Eastside VA out of Wise County at home last night.
Eastside scored 5 runs in the top of the 7th to break open the 2 all tie and go on for the 7-2 win over LCC.
The Lady Cougar softball game with Union HS in Big Stone Gap VA scheduled for Thursday has been cancelled.
The 0-2 Lady Cougars will next play at Harlan Independent on Friday at 6:00pm.
They will play at Johnson Central at 12 noon on Saturday.
The Jenkins Lady Cavalier softball team and coach Joe Banks will begin the 2025 season this Friday with a home doubleheader against Twin Valley VA with the first game at 6:00pm.
