The Sacred Heart Lady Valkyries are the 2025 Sweet 16 State Tournament champion again.
This is their 5th consecutive girls state title and 9th overall.
Sacred Heart beat George Rogers Clark 65-60 Saturday night at Rupp Arena in the championship game.
Letcher County Central Lady Cougar Senior Kara Holcomb was named the KHSAA 2025 Female Comeback Athlete of Year and was honored by UK HealthCare Sports Medicine at the girls state tournament championship game.
