In the boys 14th Region Tournament semifinals on Saturday afternoon at Knott County Central, it was Breathitt County over Powell County 83-61 and Hazard over Wolfe County 73-47.
That sets up tonight’s boys 14th Region Championship Game with Hazard taking on Breathitt County at 7:00pm at the Morton Combs Athletic Complex in Hindman. This will be the 4th matchup this season between the two with Hazard winning the three previous games.
The boys sweet 16 State Tournament won’t be played until March 26-29 due to NCAA Tournament games at Rupp Arena.
