The Kentucky boys of Trent Noah and Travis Perry led the Wildcats to 75-64 win over Tennessee at Rupp Arena last night and a regular season sweep of the Volunteers.
Kentucky was without Jaxon Robinson and Lamont Butler went out in with 8:40 to go in the game after re-aggravating his shoulder injury but the Cats found a way and beat the #5 Volunteers.
The newly nicknamed Mountain Mamba, Harlan County’s Trent Noah scored a season-high 11 points on 3-three pointers while Travis Perry put in eight points including 2 three pointers.
Ansley Almonor and Otega Oweh finished with 13 points each and Koby Brea had 11.
According to KSR, Kentucky is now up to seven wins this season against Top 15 opponents, the most in program history for a single season.
The #15 Cats will next be on the road at Texas in an SEC matchup this Saturday night.
