Cats Win Over South Carolina, Play Tennessee at Rupp Tuesday Night in Rematch

The #14 Kentucky Wildcat men rebounded with a nice win Saturday over South Carolina at Rupp Arena.

Lamont Butler returned to the lineup and the Cats won 80-57 to keep South Carolina winless in the SEC.

Otega Oweh led Kentucky’s balanced scoring with 17 points, Sophomore Brandon Garrison had 15 and it was 10 each for Koby Brea and Amari Williams.

Harlan County’s Trent Noah played well at just over 13 minutes and ended up with 5 points, including a 3 to go along with 5 rebounds.

Kentucky is 16-7 overall and 5-5 in the SEC.

Kentucky will next welcome the #4 Tennessee Volunteers to Rupp Arena tomorrow night, Tuesday. Tipoff is at 7:00pm.
