The LCEAA Letcher County Boys A Team Middle School Basketball Tournament consolation and championship games were played at Letcher County Central High School.
In the consolation game, Jenkins got by Whitesburg 39-32 to claim 3rd place in the county tournament.
In the championship game it was Fleming-Neon over Letcher 54-21.
Congratulations to all teams, The Fleming Neon Pirates, your 2025 Boys A Team Letcher County Champions.
The Letcher Eagles were runner up, the Jenkins Cavaliers took third place and the Whitesburg Yellowjackets placed 4th.
Also, 8th grader Kolten Mullins and 7th grader Jude Yonts both achieved the 1,000 point milestone in their careers at Fleming-Neon. They were honored today at Letcher County Central during the county tournament.
