#8 Kentucky’s had a great defensive game and overcame a slow start on offense to take down #11 Texas A & M 81-69 last night at Rupp Arena.
Kentucky was led in scoring by Jaxon Robinson with 5-3’s and 22 points. Andrew Carr put in 13, Otega Oweh had 11 and Amari Williams put in 8 points with 12 rebounds. Travis Perry came off the bench to hit 2 big 3’s.
Up next Kentucky, who is now 3-1 in the SEC and 14-3 overall, will face # 4 Alabama at home Saturday in another SEC Showdown with tipoff at 12 noon.
