US Marshals have captured a West Virginia fugitive in Letcher County.
The Marshals say Johnny Matthew Jones was taken into custody Friday afternoon at a home in
Jenkins on a warrant that had been issued Wednesday for several charges related to
domestic battery including malicious wounding, strangulation and use of a gun.
At last check the victim was still in a hospital.
The Marshals have not said why Jones was at that home in Jenkins or how they knew to find him there.
