Salyersville Man Sented to Eight Years in Prison on Drug Charges

It’s eight years in prison for a Magoffin County man convicted of drug trafficking in Pike County.

Daniel Jackson of Salyersville was arrested in February after a search during a traffic stop turned up more than 93 grams of meth hidden behind the dashboard of his car and a bag of fentanyl stuffed between the back seats.

Mountain Top News reports in August he was found guilty of possession of meth and fentanyl with the intent t distribute as well as obstruction of justice.

He’s been sentenced to 97 months in prison.
