The Hazard Community and Technical College registered nursing programs have been awarded accreditation from the American Commission for Education in Nursing.
Officials say the milestone came through a group effort of faculty and leadership gathering data on HCTC’s pass rates, job placement and more.

Scholarship program provides free tuition for students pursuing education in healthcare
along with other sectors like business, IT, transportation and logistics.
