Lineworkers From Kentucky Continuing Work To Restore Power After Hurricane Helene

More than 100 line workers from Kentucky Electric Cooperatives continue restoring power in areas affected by Hurricane Helene, marking the largest mutual aid response in the organization’s history.

Over 250 personnel, including co-op contractors, have joined the effort, with officials prioritizing the needs of their home areas before deploying to assist flood victims.

Workers have expressed the emotional toll of witnessing the devastation but emphasized the importance of their work in bringing stability back to affected communities.
