The names have been released for those involved in the deadly Harlan County crash on Friday.
The Kentucky State Police were contacted at approximately 2 p.m. on reports of a two-vehicle crash on US 119 in Harlan County near Harlan County High School.
Trooper Shane Jacobs said Jacob Wynn, 29, was driving a 2004 Ford F-150 and travelling South of US 119.
Officers said Wynn crossed the center line and then hit a 2019 Chevy Equinox driven by James Hall, 69, who was travelling North.
Wynn was taken to Harlan ARH and later to the University of Tennessee Medical Center.
Hall was pronounced dead at the scene by the Harlan County Deputy Coroner. A passenger in his vehicle was taken to Harlan ARH for her injuries.
