The investigation is continuing into the weekend death of a Letcher County woman police believe was attacked by an animal.
As we reported yesterday, Kentucky State Police says Trina Sandlin’s family members found her body over an embankment on Doty Creek between her home and a neighbor’s home where she’d gone to visit.
A KSP spokesman tells WYMT that foul play is not suspected although an autopsy is being
done.
He says while animal attacks are not common they are known to occur and they want everyone to remain aware of that.
