Governor Andy Beshear has announced more than $2 million in state funding toward a project for Pike County. WYMT reports One East Kentucky will work with the City of Pikeville to upgrade property at the Kentucky Enterprise Industrial Park to get it ready for industrial development. The money is from the Kentucky Product Development Initiative program which helps communities develop quality sites and buildings to attract industry. The money will reportedly cover about half of the proposed $4 million project.
