The girls sweet 16 state tournament begins today, Wednesday, and goes thru Sunday at Rupp Arena.
14th Region winner the Owsley County Lady Owls will face Region 4 winner Bowling Green to open the state tournament this morning at 11:00am.
15th Region champion the Pikeville Lady Panthers will take on Region 5 winner Bethlehem at 11:00am Thursday.
13th Region winner the North Laurel Lady Jaquars will face Franklin County out of Region 11 at 8:30pm tomorrow, Wednesday.
Today’s 4 opening round game are:
11:00am Owsley County vs Bowling Green
1:30pm McCracken County takes on Russell
This evening 6:00pm Butler will face Anderson County and at 8:30pm tonight it will Franklin County taking on North Laurel.
