A former attorney for Pike County and Elkhorn City charged with murdering his wife is reportedly asking to have the case tossed out. Donald Deskins was indicted by a grand jury last summer for murder and tampering with evidence in the 2021 death of his wife Judith. Mountain Top News reports in a motion filed this week his attorney claims there was an error in the grand jury proceedings, with grand jurors never informed that Deskins wanted to present evidence. They are asking for a new grand jury
