The leak at Lake Louellen has reportedly been fully contained with folks in the ten homes that had to be evacuated able to head home. Crews have been working since Wednesday when water began pouring into some homes. Judge Executive Dan Mosley tells WYMT they pumped water out of the lake until it stopped going through a sinkhole. He says after consulting with the Kentucky Division of Water, Energy Environment Cabinet and Evarts Fish and Game Club, they installed an overflow pipe to divert water away from the sink hole but with the new lower lake level still allowing for fishing.
