SouthDown Farm in Letcher County says around 400 visitors came out Saturday for their Kentucky Maple Syrup Day. In a note on Facebook they say 102 people took the 45-minute ATV tours up to where the maple is tapped and so many spent time learning how maple syrup is made, they actually sold out of syrup. They will be having another Maple Syrup Day on Saturday February 17th from 9:00am to 4:00pm at the farm.
