There are numerous Christmas games and tournaments going on for the next several days through the weekend.
GIRLS
The Letcher County Central girls are in Daytona Beach, Florida playing games in the Sunshine Classic.
In their first game yesterday, the Lady Cougars lost to Lincoln County TN 57-29.
In the same tournament at Daytona Beach, Dobyns-Bennett TN beat Pike County Central 51-25.
So the LCC girls will take on Pike County Central this morning at 10:00am.

In the Smoky Mountain Winter Classic at Gatlinburg-Pittman, Perry County Central beat Dawson County GA 51-39.
Harlan beat Russell County 58-55 in the Lloyd Christmas Classic at Warren Central
and Buckhorn beat Jackson City 39-31 in the Buckhorn Holiday Classic
BOYS
West Carter over Phelps 73-70
OBI beat Cordia 87-20 and Berea beat Buckhorn 73-67 in the Bobcat Memorial Classic at Lee County
Smoky Mountain Winter Classic at Gatlinburg:
Hampton TN beat Prestonsburg 68-32
Goshen OH over Jackson City 72-58
Harlan got by Wayne County 74-69 in double OT in the Monticello Bank Holiday Classic
The Letcher County Central Cougar boys won’t play any games until January 4 when they take on Knott County Central in a boys & girls district doubleheader in Hindman.
The Jenkins Cavalier boys and girls will host the Cavalier Christmas Classic featuring several games and several teams at Jenkins High School today, Friday and Saturday.
Today’s 6 games including varsity and JV games begin at 12 noon.
