It was a big doubleheader of boys and girls 53rd District basketball last bight with Knott County and Letcher County Central facing off at LCC.
We broadcast both games here on the Bulldog and both were very close and down to the wire.
In game one, the LCC Lady Cougars held off Knott County Central 49-46.
The Lady Cougars even their record at 2-2. Knott Central falls to 3-3.
In game two, Knott County Central’s Jayden Huff broke 49 all tie game by sinking a 12 foot jump shot at the buzzer to give Knott County Central the win 51-49.
The Cougar boys are now 4-3 and Knott County moves to 5-2.
