Pike County Couple Plead Guilty on Drug and Weapons Charges

A Pike County couple will be spending several years in prison after pleading guilty to federal drug and gun charges. Mountain Top News reports Joshua Allen and Malinda Mounts of Robinson Creek each pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute meth and using a gun in a drug trafficking crime. They were arrested last year after selling meth to an undercover informant and being found in possession of meth and two guns during a traffic stop. Last week Allen was sentenced to 10 years and Mounts seven years.
