The baseball district semifinal games were played Monday night at Cordia and in game one Knott County Central beat Jenkins 15-0 in 3 innings and in game two it was Letcher County Central over Cordia 18-0 in 3 innings.
Letcher County Central and Knott County Central will meet in the 53rd district baseball championship game tonight at 6:00pm at Cordia.
We will broadcast tonight’s 53rd District baseball championship game from Cordia here on the Bulldog with Michael Watts and Greg “Bull” Creech.
First pitch will be at 6:00pm.
Pregame will begin at 5:45pm here on the Bulldog.
In the other baseball districts that make up the 14th Region:
Powell County will face Estill County tonight at 6:00pm at Owsley County in the 56th District championship
Breathitt County plays Wolfe County tonight at 6:00pm for the 55th District championship game.
And after Leslie County upset Perry County Central in the 54th District opening round, Hazard will now face Leslie County for the 54th District title tomorrow night at 7:00pm at Leslie County.
