The boys 53rd District baseball Tournament and the girls 53rd District softball Tournament will both begin next week.
The boys 53rd district semifinals will be Monday at Knott County Central with Knott Central facing Cordia at 6:00pm and Letcher County Central taking on Jenkins at 8:00pm.
The two winners will meet for the boys 53rd district baseball championship game Wednesday at 6:30pm.
The girls 53rd district semifinals will also be Monday at Letcher County Central. Cordia will take on Letcher County Central at 6:00pm followed by Jenkins facing Knott County Central at 8:00pm.
