$200,000 Awarded to Fix Flood Damaged Roads in Letcher County

Nearly $200,000 in road repair contracts have been awarded by the Letcher County Fiscal Court to fix roads that were damaged in the July 2022 flood.

The Mountain Eagle reports at their last meeting the court voted to award 14 contracts for road fixes that have been waiting for nearly two years.

They include repairs on Red Star Road, Bottom Fork, Colony Road, Chopping Branch, Combs Branch, Fantasy Drive, Custom, Diamond, Beaverdam, Blair Branch, Tooter Branch, Rebel Yell, Doty Creek, Spring Branch, Carbon Glow, Brian Baker, Coon Hollow, and Combs Branch and many more.
